Third Party Reviews

"I went to this particular barbershop and thought I would receive an adequate haircut. Unbeknownst to me, that was not in my cards today. I told my barber that I did not want her to cut against the grain of my hair and you know what she immediately does? Cuts against the grain and proceeded to give me a "chili bowl". I told her just to cut all my hair off. I didn't tip. I paid and left. If I would have said anything, it would have been in anger and unjust to my barber who had a language barrier issue. However, I did ask her not to cut against the grain and the barber next to her reinforced what I requested but alas, I came away bald as an eagle. This is fair concerning because I've had good service at this shop and that why I returned. She dint even apologize even though I was noticeably perturbed. I paid and left super upset which leads us here. If a barber does not listen to the customer, does that make the customer a bad person? You tell me. I paid $19 for a barber to basically shave my head. Probably won't be going back again."

"My name is Kristal and I agree with Shelby's whole complaint because I too am a former employee and Rocio and the arrogant, narcissistic owner Cheston did the same thing to me. He tried to make me watch Rocio fix a haircut from my client that just wanted to go shorter, which couldve been done by me, when she had lots of redos corrected by me and other stylists while my work has been legit as well. Rocio is a liar and very jealous and competitive towards the other stylists. She tries to take all walk ins and never take turns but tells us too. If she feels that you're a threat she will do everything she can to compete even though we should be working as a team. Her self esteem is very low and she uses her position to try and control others same as Cheston does her and all of his management staff. Cheston has ran off previous manager even stylists which includes me with his disrespect and none of the stylists like him or Rocio. They try to overwork you when you don't have clients. The list goes on,but Rocio nor Cheston knows how to run a business or treat their staff and this is why the stylists come and go and you made the right decision to leave because working there feels like you're in a cage and can't enjoy your career and just do what you love without walking on pins and needles."

"Terrible experience as a former employee. The store manager Rocio Monterrosa insults your haircutting ability in front of customers (therefore humiliating you), makes you clock out before closing duties are finished (therefore mopping the store for free), demotes you to reception duties instead of haircutting duties (which is unethical), and cuts your hours down to less than 30 per week (hello! I have bills to pay!). Rocio Monterrosa also makes unprofessional comments such as "Clients are racist, so they pick you to cut their hair because you're White". All in all, do not recommend this location unless you support terrible management. A former coworker of mine was also fired by area manager Alyssa Posada because she suffers migraines, which is health discrimination. The photos below are an example of my haircutting ability, since management seems to believe I'm an untalented hairstylist (which is apparently is the major discriminatory reason they let me go)."

"Friendly ladies in there and give their utmost attention to you. Kerri gave my hair a different format with the same style cut. I am impressed and wish I had met her years before for this fix that looks better than all the other cuts I have had .Will be going back .Thanks"

"Language barrier with some of these stylist. (Nadya) I Went in and the woman knicked the side of my hair with her clippers. She laughed it off. Later on she was doing the shampoo and actually had a good temperature. She asked if it good and I said yes so of course she naturally turns it up as hot as she can. She scolded my scalp with the hottest water I have ever felt and if course no apology, just an oops."
